Do-all Band saw tracking
Hey all! I finally fixed that Hardinge Dividing Head! Thanks for the feedback on this site and recommendations.
I've also since bought a Do-All horizontal band saw. This one's a 600 pounder, model number is C-4. She needs some work, and I'm looking for advice (again)!
First things first, the blade tracking is off. As I rotate the drive wheel on the motor end of the machine, the blade mis-aligns with the top wheel fairly quickly. The blade tracks as if the top of the top wheel (machine now vertical) kicks in too much.
Well, it would be an easy fix if this darn machine had a top-wheel "track-o-matic". But, this big machine has no such thing. As far as I can tell, there seems no quick and dirty way to adjust tracking.
I'm wondering if anybody out there has experience with this machine, and if they might know what and where to make adjustments.
