Who do I think you are...?
My dad has one of those spool guns. They are OK, he hasn't had any real problem with it. A lot cheaper than the good USA made gun!
There isn't any made in USA 3035 spool guns they are all made in china. They just have Millers name on them...BobOriginally Posted by macona

No, I mean the real spool guns, the Spoolmatic 30A's.
Yup there...BobOriginally Posted by macona

It is just as cheep to buy a small single phase MIG welder as it is to buy a spoolmatic gun out here in NZ
Nice looking setup!
I am curious on the dual gas input to the welder. How is it switched in the machine? My 250 only has one gas input but has both 10 and 14 pin spool gun connections. It didn't come with a spool gun but I will be getting one some day and setting it all up. I am curious about the dual gas input and if it is something I can set up on my machine.
Andy
The two gas input is primarily designed for cheap guns. The spool gun has a built in valve so no external valve is needed.
When you pull the trigger on the mig gun it opens the solenoid valve for that. When you pull the trigger on the spool gun it opens the valve for that.
