17-4 TIG rods anybody?
I got a small project and I’m using 17-4 for the metal and need filler rod. I can find it in 10 pound boxes but 1 pound is more than enough. So I’m more than willing to pay someone for some rods I you have them. Or a source for the 1 pound tubes.

check your local Airgas as they have small tubes of most TIG rods. Mine orders from crownalloy. The local area just has to meet the minimum order amount.

I checked both welding supply shops. Both didn’t even know what 17-4 was. And since they think they are welding gods told me to just use 309L (it’s the same).

630 and 309L are the same?....sounds like it's time for a different welding supply house.
Maybe try calling Crown and see who sells their product near you.
