Not sure what others have been up to, but Ive been out shopping for a new throne for my castle.

Currently restoring a 1940s ranch home with hardwood everything, including a hardwood paneled garage. Not really HSM related, other than it means I can finally collect the remained (majority) of my tools from back east, including my lathe, and setup shop again.

Working in the shop. Only had to solder on the rear sight 3 times.

garage door hinge broke and opener was bouncing door--replaced with a new hinge and now OK.

Cleaning and organizing my garage... The cool thing is that I now have this PC setup on my workbench to bother you when I get bored of cleaning....and i can smoke whille doing it...aint life grand.

My old watchdog & good friend is dying. He is old & has a large tumor on his neck which he tore open got infected & almost killed him. He's having surgery Tues & I think he'll make it as he's the Meanest Old B*stard I've ever seen. I called 2 vet's & took him to the I think is the best. It amazing, they want to run a bunch of test about $300 to see if he can have surgery & if not put him down. I said no, we'll do the surgery & if he makes it we can run the test then to keep him going. Like all medicine it's a money game. Please think good thoughts about Buster on Tues. Can't believe how emotional I got about him. I love that old dog.
Got my computer back & it's running great! Found a great deal on a car for my wife & she got it today. Then waited in Kalamazoo for a guy to buy 2 carts he told me $80 for both. Called him after getting home from the vet,went to Kalamazoo waited 2 hrs on him as he wouldn't answer the phone. Finally he answers & says he knows he said $80 but now he want $100. P*ssed me off royally after he e-mailed last night(his price $80) & I confirmed it before waiting. What happened to "a man's only as good as his word:? He'll get his. Thing is I'd have paid $100 but not now. I'll find him & show him what a 4 legged cane with a welding magnet on the bottom feels like up close & personal. This isn't over.
Then bought an ultralight in my wifrs hometown of Livinston Tn. & a Prazi lathe/mill near Chicago.
Anyway glad to sit down with a cup of coffee & check the forum.

I did take a scooter ride to relax this evening & saw 6 coons,had my Sig= no more coons. Sometimes ya just gotta kill something. Probably better than the dumc *ss cart moron.

Hi,

It's EMS week. Just got home from doing an open house for the ambulance service in town. Grilled hotdogs and hamburgers for the community and I gave a couple presentations. I don't think I've been home since last Monday. And I won't be home much til next week.
