    It's not sneaky, or dishonest. They just put in a buck to grab attention knowing that no one in their right mind would think its a dollar. It's not like they hide the price, they put it right in the description. If you see a car for sale and really think its a dollar until you read the description, you probably earned the disappointment. ;-)

    But me personally, I'll buy something from someone if they have the item I want for the price I want to pay. I don't care about the wording of their ad.

    I would have to agree that is not really dishonest the way it did it. Kind of stupid and I don't like that kind of thing, but I don't think I would call it dishonest since the price is in the add.

    Now then, if he had one dollar in the heading for the add with no other price listed in the description, but when you called him he said the price was $3250, I would call that dishonest.

    Honestly can't figure out why someone would think that would be an effective tactic to sell something.
