Congrats to you and to mom and dad too. And three cheers for grandchildren!
My older granddaughter (7) was visiting a week ago and I got her roped into some metalworking. Well, she helped a little, pulled handles for drilling, hammered swarf into flat pieces etc., but we did layout, sheet metal work, turning, drilling and tapping and she went home with a double pinwheel on a stainless post she can enjoy in the back yard - and talk about.
"I am often asked how radio works. Well, you see, wire telegraphy is like a very long cat. You yank his tail in New York and he meows in Los Angeles. Do you understand this? Now, radio is exactly the same, except that there is no cat." : Albert Einstein
