The "good" spindle was L-0. L-00 was the crappy one

On my Clausing 5914, I'm measuring 4.827" OD with .5" holes.

    Default Can't spell!

On my Rockwell 11x24, the nut is about 4 1/2" dia. with slots about 1/2" wide and about 3/16" deep. The spanner is a hinged type, sort of like this from Enco: http://www.use-enco.com/CGI/INSRIT?P...PMAKA=307-3637
