    Default New Machine(s) Day

I finally got all the machines from my South Florida trip in their new home. Some of you may have seen my post asking about small old machines which were part of the haul.

My boss helped me move the machines with his F750 service truck & 14,000# crane because we were not sure the owners forklift could lift the K&T 2K high enough to set it on the trailer.

The weather was perfect until the machines were sitting on the trailer, dark skies and hard rain right away. Quickly threw a tarp over everything and headed back inside.

Got on the interstate only to hit more rain and some of the largest bumps in Florida. Everything was fine to about half way back, the trailer felt funny and then the left side went down real quick.

This was not good. My boss has a real good tow company on speed dial so they came and scooped it up on a Landoll trailer.

The machines sat in the tow yard all night and he brought them over this morning. Really good operator backed his trailer in and slid ours right off without damaging anything.

    Everything made it back unharmed.

All the bumps shook out some excess hydraulic oil. Now the trailer will never rust.

It isn't in too bad of shape and this thing is quiet and we ran it in a couple speeds/feeds/rapid and it worked perfectly.
