I'm sure others know a whole lot more about this than I do, but it's my understanding that acetylene (that's your "fuel"?) tank pressure is quite low, compared to oxygen pressure. The acetylene is actually dissolved in acetone in the tank, in a metal matrix, so it won't explode from shock. As a result, you don't really have "compressed gas pressure" the way you do with oxygen.
