After owning a lathe and mill, I wonder how anyone gets by without 1 of each.
Nice quality saw for sure.
Every machine I add to my collection becomes indispensable, but probably the most used (and would be sorely missed if gone) is the drum sander. That thing gets used almost every day for deburring and minor shaping of parts. Granted I wouldn't have any parts to deburr if I didn't have the other machines to make the parts-
I seldom do anything within the scope of logical reason and calculated cost/benefit, etc- I'm following my passion-
Not a machine but have to mention anyways: Internet
Was just talking some days ago with friends about how difficult it would feel to be teleported back to year 1990: Yellow pages, paper maps, fax orders and so on.
Lathe, pillar drill, milling machine, power hacksaw, floor standing mill-drill, second pillar drill, rage cutoff saw. That covers up until around 10 years ago ;-)
Cutoff bandsaw, arbor press, lathe, drill press not necessarily in that order.
I just need one more tool, just one!
Your DoAll is way cleaner than mine.
those cheap HF angle cutoff/grinders ...haven't touched a hacksaw in 15 years.!!
