    wish I would have built a shop in the 2 years we lived here kids free, instead of trying to do it now. I grossly underestimated how much time 2 little kids take up ha ha. Can't imagine my life without kids, just wish I could go back and use my time before a bit more wisely

    Oh, a whole world of things come to mind that I wish I had done differently, but the first thing that popped up when I read the question was to buy vacation property on Lake Huron or Lake Michigan. Never thought I could afford it back then, but looking back... Now retired, I still can't afford it.

    Weston, you sure have that right. I came very close to buying half an acre on Pender Island for $6000. Now it is worth maybe a million.
