I ordered a 6 inch chuck for my wood lathe from HF, it showed up after a back order. I tried it on my lathe and it threaded about two turns and would not go on any further. I looked at the thread and figured that I would just get a pipe threader or something and redo the thread. Then I thought about it and emailed HF about that this didn't fit. Yesterday I got email about a UPS pickup coming and in my UPS deliveries today was was a pickup slip. I already had it wrapped and put the label inside the box as well as the outside.
I went through my pile of stuff that came into day, and guess what, the replacement chuck had come over night service. I did mention to HF that I was slowed down by not having this, and did appreciate their quick attention to this. Somebody at HF must like me.
