Maybe it's related to the story I heard about a guy whose whole left side fell off.

But you'll be relieved to know that he's alright now.

Venus Demilo had no arms, and is still worth a few bucks. seems there is no place in sculpting world for second hand stuff. Alistair

Yup, first hand is valuable. Nobody cares about second hand so only pick up the first hand stuff and leave the second hand behind.

Ya gotta hand it to those old time sculptors. They made a lotta stuff you'd give an arm and a leg for.

A sub assembly delivery from the Right Arm Carvers' Guild? If there was one left in the group that is likely a "monday morning" job and would have been rejected for delivery upon inspection?

If it's all right with you guys, we could move on to something else.

Anybody else following Clicksprings youtube series on reverse engineering and building the antikythera orrery?

Pretty satisfying and a pretty accessible project, not counting the fortune in brass.
