Default Anyone in St Louis often run ABS on a 3D printer and want some outside work?

I have some 3D printing to do, which is a paying job for whoever wants it.

I can use ABS for it, but not most other materials. Ideal would be PVC, but I understand that is not an option.

The parts that I will want to run are a round piece about 3.25 diameter, and 4" or so high, which is mostly hollow (only around 0.125" thick for most of it, with some internal structure of similar size, and an open-ended box about 5/8 x 1.35 x 2.5".

Probably want a couple of the big items, and 3 or 4 of the small boxes, initially.

If you can also run some form of medium-soft rubber-like material, that would add a couple parts to the list.

Might not be a lot of members in St Louis who do 3d printing for hire.

Have you tried craigslist or a site that is 3d printing oriented?

Measure twice. Cut once. Weld. Repeat.
    ( Welding solves many problems.)

Try https://www.3dhubs.com/ if you don't get any replies here.

I'm near Chicago or might be inclined to quote and I'm slammed for the next few weeks anyway.

    Thanks.

I looked at that, or one like it, before, and was just overwhelmed by the number. I also don't want to just put out the model for quote without knowing who has it, and preferably getting something approximating an NDA.

I guess I am just more comfortable dealing with a specific person/company on this. Yes, it's "one of those deals".

What about that young Nebraska fellow ? Doesn't he have a lot of 3d printers and a side gig doing this very thing? I know it's not exactly around the corner from you, but it's not exactly across the country either. Just a thought.

Yeah, I don't think that I would go with 3DHubs if it was a proprietary part either. If you need an NDA, you might also try Shapeways or Proto Labs - I think that the latter offers some sort of 3D printing. Probably neither would be too cheap, though the Polyjet parts at Proto Labs start at $40..
