    You'd only have to look up the price to know you're talking about one of, if not the, top brand.

    I've got a 10" Rohm 4 jaw that weighs about half as much as my Pratt Burnerd 10" 4 jaw, it is a nice chuck though.

    I have a 16 inch Rohm 4 jaw that weights more than some lathes

    I also have a 6 inch 4 jaw scroll/independent (one chuck) rohm. Love it.

    The one I saw was under $500, same area as Bison and way less expensive than others but, as we know, price alone is no indication of quality.

    Looked at a 400mm independent 4-jaw with steel body about 2 weeks ago. Around €3000..

    Mine came with the lathe (effectively free). Looked unused. Still is I need to build my crane to get it on/off the headstock

    Yep. Rohm don't make crap. Neither do Bison (Polish?) for that matter.
