    It's good to see that you're recovering enough to post a note to us. Sounds like it was quite the trial! And hopefully soon you'll be back fit as a fiddle and able to tinker in the shop.

    Keep well Alistair. Perhaps take a chair and just sit in your shop for a while. Just surround yourself with the ambience there and think about all the pleasure you have had over the years. I'm 81 and it works for me.

    Best wishes for lots of improvement in your conditions. I'm 69 and fortunately have had mostly orthopedic problems that have been mostly corrected. Perhaps you can try medical Cannabis to supplement or replace the morphine, although opioides are well tolerated as long as you maintain proper nutrition. Good to hear from you, old friend!
