Peoples' perception of styles and fashions always find nothing odd about the present, but the past tends to look ridiculous.

Always interesting to hear the reactions of kids and grand kids to old high school year books. It will take years for them to realize how dorky they and their fashions will appear later in life.

Likewise many times seeing a "new style" before it is the new style yet is odd.
