    Iv always found that the word "Abracadabra" adds to the suspense and excitement just before a "magician" makes stuff disappear...

    About a week ago, I needed a 55” piece of 3/4” G&P shafting, in error I cut it 53” long, so I had to cut another piece. Now in a moment of either extreme brain fade or stupidity, I again cut it at 53”, finally on the 3 try I got it cut to the correct 55” length.

    What is it about the human brain that tends us toward repeating an error like that?

    I've done similar things in the past; sometimes needing more than three tries to get it right. Aaarg!!
