Poor kid, he doesn't live far from me, maybe I'll ask for a ride.

Im sure he'll take really good care of it too - just like if he had to spend 3,456 years of mowing lawns and shoveling snow to buy it

probably be a pile of crap in a few months when he wraps it around a telephone pole lol

He's just bragging, using the tax bill as an excuse to post how much he paid. That's all the car is to him, something to brag about. The only performance stat on that car he cares about is "most expensive."

Not bragging to us, mind you. It's just his little social circle he cares about, trying to outspend each other. Pathetic bunch of losers if you ask me. Now, I expect there are plenty of stupid-rich kids out there that have wonderful lives, nice and quiet, and everything they want to explore whatever fancy strikes them, arts, science, whatever. It could be a wonderful life. But, this kid... he's obviously not one of them. He's a loser... a high-priced one. Pretty sad... but, hey, he's good for the economy. Those mechanics will get their kids through college at least. Well, with the "endowment" his daddy will have to make to get this kid in university, he's likely to pay for near a generation of kids education.

Balance of trade... you poison your environment and have your people work for slave wages to make cheap stuff, then the few that get rich off it do everything they can to get out and dump the money in a place that's worth living in. Seems fair to me.

I just want to belong to that union his daddy belonged to. Didn't realize union pay was that good.

I'll bet that car doesn't survive till it's due for it's first service. Oh well, as long as he doesn't take anyone else out....

On the opposite end of the spectrum...
I paid $1500 for an old fire truck
and I am having more fun with it than
a cowboy with a barrel of whiskey in a
    whore house.

There are many videos on line of this class ruining their six and seven figure cars by stupid behaviors. Love the ones revving up, the turbo dumping flames that get sucked into the rear intake and causing a fire inside the intake system that can't be put out by their equally stupid friends filming the stupid behavior.

The more I see 'lots of money and no brains' people, I wouldn't even think about trading places.

    Idiocracy...we are there.

I'll stick with my garage, hobbies, and life in the real world.
