    What is "American cheese"?
Is that like Canadian bacon only different?

I dont think we can get American cheese up here..
Everyone rants about Tillamook Cheese from the PNW.. around here.. Oregon it's from..
Armstrong Cheddar is fairly popular around here...

JR just does not play fair with that pic...

my favorite cuts are rib eye - T-bone and new york strip... really cannot pic a favorite as they all are so good, but im only buying grass fed now and it's close to double the price - so twice a year if im lucky enough to afford it...

I don't think you have lost much even if you don't have American cheese.

Tillamook in black wrapper (extra sharp cheddar??) was actually edible and tasted like some sort of cheese instead of "processed milk fat"

Is it that processed cheese like product? yuck. that stuff is to be avoided, its anything spoiled or swept off the dairy floor with a bunch of food colouring.

A lot of cheese in general has gone down hill, i.e. cheddar. I avoid the major brands now, Baldersons is still excellent but expensive and you probably can't get it out of Ontario. I think the cheeses are cheating on the aging....medium used top have some flavour and old, look out. Now Old is just barely adequate
