I used maple for the top. I can't work in wood, no tools, but a friend did a nice job putting it together for me.

I made three racks to hold the lathe tooling.

I also made a rack for the milling machine tool holders.

I milled out two peices of plastic and made drawers for the milling cutters.

The bottom shelf is 1/4" plate for rotary table, indexer, angle plates, etc

This is the back of bench. I made two racks for drill rod, threaded rod, key stock, etc.

Almost everything was salvage or just laying around. The bench works great because now everythiing for the mill and lathe are in one place and it can be rolled to each machine.
