    Question RADIUS GRINDING

    Greetings group...
I would like to grind a specific radiused groove.(~.203 for example) (concave) on the OD and ID of some steel tubes. I have a THEMAC toolpost grinder.
How do I go about dressing a radius on the stones that I have?
Can I buy stones already with a prepared radii?
    Thanks for any input!

    Int,
You need a radius dresser of some type.
If you have a 5C indexer and boring head you can rig it with a diamond and be ready to roll.
The od radiuses can be lapped with a copper wire and compound.
Don't know of anyone selling pre radiused wheels. They'll never run true.

You could make your own cutters up to do this as well out of O-1 or T-15 HSS and mill the groove with the grinder.

Mite's way is the traditional tried and true method.
