• OT: Chat Server Test

If anyone is interested, I'm testing out a very simple real-time Telnet based chat server. You should be able to connect by running your telnet client like this:

    telnet dev.gnuxtools.com

Or typing "telnet://dev.gnuxtools.com" into your WEB browser.

You can also connect by clicking on the "chat" link at the top of my BBS system:

    http://www.bbssystem.com

Let me know if anyone has problems connecting.

Hooked right up no problem. I like that it was fast.

I'm debugging it right now.. I just reset the server and it should be OK for people to log back in now.

I just finished writing the basic chat server so I'm adding features, and fixing bugs, etc.

Doesn't work. It invokes telnet with a "connecting to gnuxtools.com" and after about 20 seconds it closes.

                        from Windows:

                        c:\>telnet dev.gnuxtools.com

                        from Linux:

                        $telnet dev.gnuxtools.com

Is that what people are doing?
