    Howdy from Montana
Hey does anyone know of a good book on splines, My friend at the local machine/welding shop has a farm fix it job and may have to build a new shaft if the weld up and turn method doesn't work. Info needed most is identification and cutting methods.

As always help will be greatly appreciated.

I've got a great book on gears and splines from the Barber Coleman Company published about 1950 that has data on everything with the exception of metric for some strange reason Unfortunately it is at work and I can't get it till Monday
Forty plus years and I still have ten toes, ten fingers and both eyes. I must be doing something right.
