Graphite filled nylon is nice to work with but it can be hard to find.

I like working with Delrin as it cuts cleaner chips than other plastics. Maybe it's just the way I sharpen tooling but I get a pretty good finish with a minimal anount of "hair" off it. I did have to work with some stuff called Torlon once and it ate HSS, nasty stuff.

The only thing about VISA... you make 3 chips and have to givem' 12 back.

HDPE. Saws easily with a woodcutting bandsaw or chopsaw. Only problem turning it is that you have to hand pull the spiral coming off the cutter -- not a single chipbreaker will work on this. Bores like a dream, with extremely fine surface finish.
