  • A eat trick and a freebee

I replaced the shocks in my girlfriend's Toyota Rav-4. Well i read somewhere they make great tailstock alingment tools. They are center drilled on both ends and are ground perfectley round.

The freebee! I have two of them and i only need one. If someone wants the other one i would be happy to send it.

          Mark,

That is a realy good point, however most of the time it is the gas or seals that breakdown. She had oil shocks so the seals gave away and were causing no restrcition. There was also a bumper on the shock so it never bottomed out.

With gas shocks, the gas usualy escapes into the air leaving nothing in the chamber to cause restriction.

I will take some pictures later on to show you what i mean.
