OT- Compound angle when chasing metric thread

    Get it..It's a joke. A pun.
    I'm lampooning the "OT-".

Might just be me, but this board seems to be in a downward spiral toward the inane, rediculous daily ranting of some individuals.

Way too much OT - lets get back to teaching and learning, machining advice and the ocassional showing off.

I could care less if all the females in your house are on the rag or if Aliens have played with your arse...

Actually I was thinking exactly the same thing. There are bbs that specifically address:

    Aliens:http://ufos.about.com/

    Roofing:http://doityourself.com/roofing/index.shtml

    Menopause:http://www.menopause-online.com/

If Thrud felt better he'd clean up this mess. I've even thought about the Impractical Machinist bbs..................

there's a "general" area that is largely OT and gets a couple 'o hundred posts a day and a "third hand" that talks abouts machining and gets a couple a day.

based on the interest in socializing and ranting, it would be an uphill battle trying to stop it, but why not have an OT area for these threads?

Yep could call it the " CHIP PAN " machinery sounding and as in the shop catches most of the useless crap. And everyone like to make chips now and then.
Wow... where did the time go. I could of swore I was only out there for an hour.
