Nova Scotia Maritime Museum in Halifax...well worth a trip, lots of models of steam engines, ships, etc and used to have a display cabinet full of old hand tools that belonged to an engineer on a coaster or something....just generally a "good site" !!!

have a good trip...N.S. is a great place!

I've never been there, but my neighbor trucks lobster bait from Lunenburg, NS, and he says there is a really interesting foundry there. He told me it was like going back in time, lots of old timey machines, and they let him look around pretty much as he pleased. Might be worth inquiring about if you're in that area.

Well, here it is guys. They even have a gift shop. An interesting web-site. The image of the machine shop reveals older manual machinery, the kind of stuff most of us love.
