  • Ford Tractor Sleeves

I have removed and reinstalled a lot of 8N Ford tractor liners. They can be removed easily by chisel if they are not the thicker replacement liners where the block has been bored bigger because of liner working loose.
Usually the liners come in .010 ; .020 ; and .030 oversize...all with standard bore.

I always cleaned then honed the cylinders until the sleeve would slip in snug down about 3/4 of the way...then coated the cylinder and liner with K&W block sealer and slid the liner in and wiped all excess sealer off. The K&W sealer lubed the liner to where it would go snugly the rest of the way and seal it good later. Doing it this way we never had a tight piston to liner condition.
