I've bored a master cylinder out and used the inner tube from a shock absorber for a new wear surface. Seemed to work pretty well. Only problem is finding just the right donor shock absorber.

many guys make a sleave from stainless steel. shoot for at least a .0625 wall sleave, install a cold sleave in a hot Master Cylinder.(be quick).

then you can re-hone it to stock size and it will be good as new.

    Boring Master Cylinders

I honed the master cylinder for the truck the other night and there are still some pits. The bore is at the maximum recomended dimension. I hate to toss it out, does anyone have any recomendations for boring and sleeving?
