  • Viceroy Royal 250 Shaper

    Has anyone have info or advice on the Viceroy Royal 250 shper? I am unfamiliar with these. I was thinking it might be a useful unit in the workshop as I cannot afford a mill at present. the shaper has a footprint of 460mm x 800mm and will nott take up much floorspace. Thanks.

    I know mine is called a "Royal" shaper .....and thats all the info I have on it .
    I know 2 or three guys with this exact shaper....but no-one has the manual for it
    if you have one ....it would be most appreciated by all if you did a scan of it.

    The best example of this shaper I've seen is here..

      Day seven is rather interesting where he attempts to bury a really nice mini digger

        I find it very hard to believe
        that he is building a workshop.
        no matter how many times I look at it , and the way it's being done, just puzzels the hell out of me.
        It should be titled "How not to construct a workshop"
        Or perhaps he's making a gouverment training video for the building industry...showing us how many things can go wrong.

          If you go through the pictures backwards, it looks like they dug up a small backhoe.

            Was that a BBC TV series? Can`t wait for the re-runs;
            "quick Lin, get the video ready, I want to record this".
            "why dear?"
            "Darling, I`m going to build myself a workshop just like that beauty and surround my Viceroy with assorted cr*p"

            Hey you all, I need some real info urgently on the shaper thanks . The unit I am looking at tomorrow is very similar to the one in test-net; it does not have the round ram but a square type. It has been suggested it might be an Alba. Any help coming?
