  • ? for John Stevenson

John, I was looking atyour pictures on your website and I saw the center finder you have. I would like to know, if you would tell me, how is the little pointing rod attached to that piece of hex bar. Is it just stuck in a hole that is the same size diameter, or does it have a ball mounted on it that allows it to move around in the hex. I think that is one of the neatest tools I've seen so far. Just curious

I think I have a good idea hows it's done

It's held in a hole at the rear, same size as the rod. You can just see the screw in the picture on the website, [ grand name that is for a dumping ground ]

The hole in front of this can be anysize as long as there is loads of bag to allow the pointer to move about whilst you are fiddling with the chuck.

Nothing written in stone, use anything you may have handy.
I only used a pieces of hex as this was closest to hand.
Round will do just as well.

              Evan,
It's been under "constrution" ever since it's been up.
Constrution is an old anglo saxon word derived from Construction and Constitution and roughly translates as those who rule know sod all about building

Actually small son did the page just as a marker and he's very badly dyslectic.

I don't have a web page but just a space where I dump files for people to see via links or I link to in posts.
All the relevant bits are at

Loughborough University threw it out a couple of months ago.
It was a Friday morning phone call, needs to be gone today, just fetch it.

Idea is to throw the oxy / fuel lines and gun and bolt the Ceborra Plasma onto it.
