Yup, I'll have to add one of those to my list of to-do projects I love the idea.

in one sense i suppose i shouldn't critize because I make things without practical purposes, but that unit just strikes me as ridiculous. each to his own i suppose

Reminds me of the '60s vintage show snow mobile that Mercury (?) had
Forty plus years and I still have ten toes, ten fingers and both eyes. I must be doing something right.

I always liked the Model viper engine driving a pencil sharpener. Well, liked the engine part of it.

                  I bet it's a great 200mph wheelie machine

That candy a$$ V-8 thingy aint a snow plow!

                    THIS is a snow plow!

                    http://66.116.202.72/Education/service.asp

This plow was built 120 years ago but is now obsolete and in a museum somewhere. The rotary plow still used by Burlington Northern replaced it in the 1920's and is still in service. Like its predecessor it's not self-propelled but has to be pushed by a couple of other engines. Its boiler and 1200 HP reciprocating engine is devoted to slinging snow up to 150 feet away from the tracks.

Chicken V-8's my butt! Live steam rules.

They still use rotary plows on the railroads.

If you're gonna spend that kinda money on a snowblower, might as well get something useful. Get yourself one of these:

Much more versatile - blows snow in the winter and moves dirt in the summer.

What you need is a V8 powered chainsaw:

My only question on the chain saw is were do you get the two Gorilla's to pick it up and use it.

It looks like that V-8 powered chainsaw cuts through logs at 100 mph.

I think I'm going to have to pickup a couple of old v8 engines
