  • So where the hell is Sir John?

I know he took a vacation awhile back, did he like the beach and decide to stay?

          It's the old story!
"The sexual life of the camel is stranger than anyone thinks
At the height of the mating season it tries to bugger the Sphinx
          But the Sphinx's posterior orifice
is blocked by the sands of the Nile
Which accounts for the hump on the camel
          and the Sphinx's inscrutable smile"

And no doubt when " Brave and bowed Sir John
returns from fighting foreign wars that care not for wounds and scars", he will fill us in- with the gory details.

The sources- the Gazira Gazinta and the Lambton Worm.

Ho, Ho for that classical education!Whose a close relative of Alice in Wonderland?
          Next castle to Lambton.

"Were off on the Road to Morocco" 1942 version?

Norman, that mean we gotta ask him if the Sphinx was frowning when they parted company to see if he develooped any humps or had a good time?

John sent me a nice worm and wheel a few weeks back, and in the correspondance he said he was going to be vacationing in some nice vacation spot - the Riviera or Morroco, some place like that - til after the New Year.

Sphinx is a singular noun- hence the need to breed more.
