  • Esso Kutwell 45 compatibility with A10 Coolube

I found about a gallon of Kutwell 45 from late 70's and Was wondering if it will mix with the existing Tough Guy A10 Coolube?

Doubtful, older cutting oils where just that oil. The newer stuff tends to be synthetic. Probably won't play well together.

The Kutwell 45 is designed to be mixed with water, the A10 is not synthetic but wondering if other ingredients would make it clash.

You could always use up the Kutwell when you run out of the other, nothing wrong with it but it can cause staining of the metal and gets stagnant (bacteria) over time.
