    OT: Vehicle Radio wiring question...

    A question for you electronic experts...

    I have a vehicle radio the keeps blowing fuses and I have isolated the problem somewhere in the radio itself. As for as I can see, there are not visible "short" marks on the board. Is there some sort of electrical component that, if failed, can cause a direct short?

    Yes, ther is usually a diode with polarity to short it if reverse wired, If that is shorted permanently, it will blow the fuse reliably every time, regardless.
    CNC machines only go through the motions.

      You can have transistors that short out. Diodes too.
