Yes, ther is usually a diode with polarity to short it if reverse wired, If that is shorted permanently, it will blow the fuse reliably every time, regardless.

A question for you electronic experts...
I have a vehicle radio the keeps blowing fuses and I have isolated the problem somewhere in the radio itself. As for as I can see, there are not visible "short" marks on the board. Is there some sort of electrical component that, if failed, can cause a direct short?Tags: None
