I can remember having a small spot of the stuff on the knee of a pair of jeans. No matter how much time passed and washings, whenever the sun would hit that spot I would smell that smell. Smelled like race cars. Unfortunately, I can no longer fit into those jeans of my youth.
The cheap sprayer is a great tip. Only gotcha is, for limited use, different fluid types for different vehicles complicates things.
