    Believe it or not, I'm still working on it. I do it for the challenge and the enjoyment. Especially since I am machine-limited for the time being. I don't have a garage or a basement, so its all happening in the back hall and in a spare room, at room temp. I finally got a piece of steel 5" long, and flat enough (within half a thou). It tool 4 attempts, learned something each time. This last time, I blued up the ends with a sharpie marker and locked the micrometer at 5" dead on, and try to slide the bar thru the mic. And where the mic rubs off the ink, thats where I had to stone it a bit more.

    Hopefully I can get some pics later.
