3D printed press dies

This idea of cheap, 3D printed sheet metal form tools is amazing, and I've been thinking of little else other than the infinite possibilities all day. I've forwarded the thread and the videos to friends of mine, and we now have a list of stuff to try, and projects to build as we learn, a mile long.

I have a 3D printer, a 1-ton Harbor Freight arbor press and an oxy-acetylene welding outfit... why am I wasting time typing on the internet?

Sure its useful for short run tooling.
myself I would probably just whip one up out of aluminum .
Mainly because I enjoy it and it's what I do.... and I had tgecskills and the tooling.. when my shop was set up.

I think for fast prototyping this could not be beat!
Cheap and easy.
