        at a constant 1g acceleration, not very long (crossing the Milky Way galaxy would only take 16 years). That would require about 300,000 tons of nuclear bombs to sustain though (see Project Orion and Daedalus).

        at the speed of the New Horizons probe (current speed record holder at ~52,000mph) you're looking at around 54,000 years.

        even getting humans to Mars is not trivial and that's our next door neighbour.

            Is there some special significance to that name "Crew Dragon"? I assume Elon Musk came up with that. I think he reads too many space comic books.
