  • You know your HSD is bad when...

… even your roller tables are covered in tools and parts.

Haven't been fishing in two weeks. The aluminum in my boat is starting to shrink and the chinking is starting to fall out

Let's create an acronym for something to seem cool and no one will know what it is.

Just at work they make acronyms for EVERYTHING.
            So trendy these days.
            Drives me nuts.
            Just say what you mean.

I did. I said what you are saying isn't cool. There, now I said it again. I'm not sure why you would want that, but who am I to argue.

I'm in a good mood today. Its all good. I didn't make much progress in my battle with HSD, but I did get 3 molds shipped this morning, and sold another this afternoon. One I actually had on the shelf so I didn't have to add it to my ever growing jobs list.

Now to see if I can fill just one of these darn 115 piece drill indexes from all the drills laying around everywhere.

I shop vac cleaned my shop the other day
with just the hose, on my hands and knees
to make sure I suck up all the dirt.
                      Do I have a problem?

Sounds like OCD. You want me to spell that out too?

I don't know what HSD is, but every single flat work surface in my shop has 6 inches of crap on top of it. Sounds like I may have HSD too.

Okay, now you might find this amusing. Right after my last reply I walked out into the machine room to start shutting everything down. Sometime in the last little while the hose on the bucket pump for my soluble coolant had gotten knock off of where I hang it and it had siphoned out about 3 gallons of blue goo on the floor. Guess where I was for the last fifteen minutes. On the floor on my hands and knees scooping up SC520 and dumping it into another bucket to be filtered later. Might be karma or kismet if you believe in that sort of thing. LOL.

I don't really need to filter it since I dump the mix in my chip tray on the machines where I use it, but the chips off the floor would probably eat up seals in my bucket pump.

FYI: A wide taping knife and a mud tray do an decent job of getting up the bulk of SC520 spilled on the floor if you get to it before it spreads out to much.
