    Ok, I found a post that has the photos uploaded in a way that allows you to scroll thru the pics with the arrow keys;

    I have been thinking about making these mods to my Harbor Freight 20 hydraulic press for some time and today was the day. This makes getting into position to do the serious pushing much quicker and much easier. The screw is 1½" Acme thread. The housing is 3" schedule 80 pipe. The nut had a ½" base plate and I

    Post # 30.

    The pics also open in a "sub-window" of the post, not a new tab. Clicking the X box in the upper right closes the pic, but not the tab.

    Going to have to do some more figuring......

        Nope, using upload attachments makes the pics open in a new window.

          Have you tried opening the images in another browser window, and drag/drop them here? Like this:

              And here I will try the same thing, without inserting them into my post:

                Still can't duplicate the behavior you are seeing. I'll try something else (Share photos):
                You may only view thumbnails in this gallery. This gallery has 2 photos.

                  Well at least we are able to show pictures, without having to use 'broken bucket'. One thing I have to figure out is how to focus in macro mode. I like the camera I'm using, but I have to be 3 ft away from the subject before it will keep a focus. I can get within 3 inches and watch while it passes through a nice sharp focus, but it will not stop there. Hopefully it's just operator error, and I can learn how to make it work. My other camera works fine in that regard, but it has a battery sensing issue.
                  At least this computer will recognize the camera, and I can go directly into the memory and retrieve files. Usually the proprietary software gets in the way, and it's a cumbersome and frustrating experience to use it- enough to put me off of taking pictures at all.

                  Anyway, I don't mean to rant about my camera. I do recognize that pictures help enormously when trying to explain something or get an idea across. Thanks everybody for trying to clarify the ways and means of posting pictures, and for posting the pictures that you do.
                  I seldom do anything within the scope of logical reason and calculated cost/benefit, etc- I'm following my passion-

                    It does have some bugs. In fact I think some new bugs have developed.
                    Last couple posts I made ended up with duplicate pictures and some complained of broken links.
