For those that follow Clickspring, most probably noticed that he hasn't posted a video in nearly a year. He hasn't quit but has been busy and says he will be back. He also has another channel called Clickspring Clips https://www.youtube.com/c/ClickspringClips/videos. They are short videos without narration and many have been on previous videos but some are new.

Hi,
The rumor is he has discovered something new about his build of the Antikythera Mechanism. And research is being done about it. Don't know if that's true or not. Or maybe he's just tired of creating videos and is taking a break. If you think you understand what is going on, you haven't been paying attention.

Hes still actively making videos actually, just not as much
Hes stated that the reason he isnt doing so much on Youtube has been the aforementioned research on the Antikythera mechanism, with the study and speaking he does on it, but he still releases a Patreon video once every month or so. You can say what you want about Patreon, but in this case theres not really much doubt that he deserves the money for the videos, given that his build series videos are how-tos that come with blueprints for some pretty awesome tools. His most current series hes doing a set of jigs you can use to make gear cutters with minimal equipment
