  • One major difference between Solidworks and Fusion, Sketch Blocks

    Sometimes you just want to play around with ideas in 2D like figuring out mechanical motion of say a front loader. Want to figure out the lengths and placement of linkages so when you lift the bucket up, it maintains its orientation more or less. Don't believe you can do this in Fusion360.

    Probably not, at least not easily BUT there are many very good 2D cad programs that are now free. Use one of those.
    The shortest distance between two points is a circle of infinite diameter.

      Why would it be hard? Just add dimensions and constraints to elements which need to maintain a particular relationship. In this video, I just added dimensions to control the size of the arms and the bucket.
