I found this at the dump and couldn't keep myself from bringing it home. I already have more vises than I need, so it's up for grabs.

There's a chip out of the anvil. The jaws are there, but it does need new ones. I removed them just to be sure it was possible. The top edges behind the jaws are beat up, can't imagine how & why they did that:

I can't believe you don't have more offers than vises.
Somebody quick, give it a good home.

Ya, I have one I salvaged out of the garbage 20 years ago. It'll make a decent vise for someone. I'd ask for it, but I don't need 2. hate to see this go unclaimed!
I cut it off twice; it's still too short

I put my hat in for this vice. I'd love to have it. Thanks again.

          Best Regards,

Just a follow-up note on the UPS shipping. The vise was shipped in a box 8 x 8 x 16 & weighed 40 lbs (!). UPS has a "Simple Rate" which is based on the _size_ only (up to 50 lbs). This was the "Large" size ( up to 1076 cu in) & cost $21. Regular (not Priority) at the USPS would have been $98 - almost 5X!
