Stephen King is good. I still recommend reading the National Enquirer for the articles. Hell sometimes at work I read the vendor's literature just out of desperation to read on my lunch -- did you know that Mac tools wants over $300 for a set of combination wrenches?

My cousin and her husband bought Tom Robbins' house about thirty years ago. The house is on Pull and Be Damned Road, near La Conner, Washington. This is is where Robbins wrote Another Roadside Attraction. An interesting feature of the house is the fireplace mantle -- it is an eight-foot length of aluminum, about eight inches wide and an inch thick.

I wonder what he was thinking.

heat dissipation? aluminum is great at it -- may not store it but sure would spread it around quick, If he had it put in im sure he had his reasons - guys no dummy and in fact pretty impressive with allot of what he wrote when you were not laughing or just plain shaking your head lol

I finally escaped for part of the day!! Had to buy material for the engine I'm building, go for an X-ray of my gimpy left wrist, pick up a new weird size endmill, bought a set of points and condenser for the engine, bought some printer paper for my office, picked up a rechargeable AAA battery for my roam phone and got a coffee to go at Tim Hortons. Wore my mask, washed my hands, sterilized my hands, held my breath and still got home in time to have roast beef for supper. Had a covid test yesterday because I'm scheduled to go see my 100 year old mom later this month and you can't get into the seniors home without proof of a Covid test.
