We’re you able to measure the diameter of your plates?

Yes as follows. Correct plate is 5in diameter, with 1.250 bore. 3 hole mount. Hole patterns 37, 39, 41, 43, 47, 49.

The wrong plates are 5 1/4in with a 1 1/2in bore. 4 hole attachment holes. They are 1/2 in compared to the correct which is 1/4in.

I have 5”. 1.125 ID bore 3, 1/4” mounting holes.

15–20 , 21-33, 37-49 hole pattern.

Measure the bore again.
not saying it’s not possible, but why would they not use the same dims of the plates and mounting, regardless of the size of the head.

Sid you are correct I read the caliper incorrectly. It is 1.125. Thank you for catching that.

I don’t see any reason not to modify the “wrong” plates to fit your DH. Assuming the hole counts are what you need.

Well, I have these three available.
The reason is, that I put a stepper motor on my LW dividing head. Currently, I’m doing the same to my Hardinge indexing head that I recently picked up.
They are 4:1 reduction, not 40:1 like most heads.
