  • solid gold nut for sale

Maybe not exactly, but close. Price including postage and import duty makes it the most expensive Atlas part ever. Should be posted on the PM forum just for a laugh.

For a second I thought you were serious, but that price is missing a couple orders of magnitude to be solid gold, heh. A friend of mine carries around a real live turn of the century solid gold dollar just to show people who've never seen one. I think he's crazy. Liable to get mugged.

I have a solid gold O-ring I got out of a piece of discarded high-vacuum lab equipment. Weighs about 1/10'th of an ounce. They have to be soft to be malleable enough to seal well, so they are made out of 24 k gold.

That seller has been around for years with his red ruler. The ruler looks a little more worn.
