    Great idea, assuming you always leave the vise on the table, and use a particular rotary table exclusively.

    That is a lot of trouble to go through. Mine sits on a shelf which mounts to the mill. Just crank the table over next to it and slide the RT into place.

    I agree about it being top heavy when extended with a load on it. I lower the table when moving it, and then raise it again.

    Money well spent on injury prevention. Looks a little top heavy when full extended. Gotta be careful about chips and things on the floor interfering with the wheels when rolling about. That idea of having attach points that secure the table to the machine is the most clever one I've seen in a long time. Must remember that one!

    A periodic coating of Teflon from a spray can will really help things slide.

    I think there was a thread where someone put a small crane on the corner to lift things like lathe chucks into place.

    Very nice. I need to do that as well. My back can't lift things like that anymore. Looks way more space efficient than a cherry picker. Can use it for a workbench too I'd guess.

    I didn't want to assemble my engine hoist every time I wanted to transfer my rotary table and/or Kurt vise to my mill. Since I lacked the space to store a large lift table, I found this alternative:
